The system is simply failing our youth. With over 75,000 American kids expected to
become homeless after leaving foster care over the next 12 years, the need is far
exceeding available resources. The result? 25% of youth will experience homelessness
within 18 months of aging out of the system, 46% leave the system without a high school
diploma, and 20% of ex-foster youth in the US will serve time behind bars within two
years of leaving care.

Enter CityArk. We are a company of professionals who have been on the front lines of
treatment with at risk youth and young adults. What these statistics fail to show are the
extensive emotional scars brought on by a life in the system that leave these youth with a
deep longing to be accepted, heard, understood, and loved. CityArk’s mission is to create
a faith based community where at risk adolescents and young adults are able to find
possibly for the first time, a permanent home and a sense of family. It is CityArk’s belief
that by providing a stable environment, opportunities to develop healthy relationships,
and on site career and job assistance, these young people will develop into citizens who
make a long lasting, positive impact in their community and the world. Help build an ark
