We Believe In the Gospel

It has been our experience that addressing spiritual concerns in treatment has accelerated the healing process. We believe in the gospel, and therefore we believe in God’s ultimate ability to heal. While mental health systems define healing as far from complete (I.e., still having to cope with a lifetime of potential flare ups), we believe in God’s ability to heal completely – body, soul, and spirit. 

We also believe in the potential of our youth, and to that end we will assess and counsel them upon admission regarding the direction of their lives. Additionally, upon admission, CityArk in collaboration with World Vision, will sponsor a child for each youth. As CityArk is already focused on the needs of the community and the world at large, youth will also be challenged to expand their concerns beyond their own needs to those of disadvantaged youth in underdeveloped countries.
