CityArk is a company of professionals who have been involved in the treatment of at risk youth and young adults. The majority of our clients have had a long history of moving from foster home to foster home and were ill prepared to leave the foster care system. Some were at risk of becoming homeless, others were at risk of being incarcerated, or becoming life-time substance abusers. What they shared in common was a deep longing to be accepted, heard, understood, and loved. It has been our dream to create a place/program that succeeds in addressing their special needs where others have failed.

What We Believe

CityArk’s secondary mission is to address the needs of senior citizens and veterans at risk of becoming homeless by providing them a home, incorporating them into the community, and utilizing their life experiences and skills in youth treatment and career development.

CityArk’s Solution: “Empowered Housing”

Empowered housing is CityArk’s solution to the problem of youth homelessness. At its heart, CityArk is a faith based community dedicated to facilitate healing and provide a sense of family to youth, possibly for the first time. The community provides opportunities for youth to develop healthy relationships while also encouraging community and world activism. It is out of our faith based community that all other services are linked. Permanent housing (as long as needed) provides much needed stability. On site educational, career, and job assistance beginning upon admission assesses needs and strengths while providing direction

Psalm 68 verse 5

God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
